Three projects in one post!

Hacía tiempo que quería fotografiar algunos de mis últimos proyectos de costura pero por una cosa o por otra no lo había hecho, así que este fin de semana me he propuesto sacar fotos para ponerme al día en el blog. Las tres prendas que he confeccionado están hechas a partir de patrones de Grainline studio.

This weekend I decided to photograph some sewing projects I made during the last months to catch up with my blog. I show you three garments, all of them made with Grainline studio patterns.

Maritime shorts: Estos son los segundos que hago (los primeros los puedes ver aquí). Mi intención era hacerlos al final del verano pasado pero la tela no llegó a tiempo... Así que esta vez en cuanto llegó el buen tiempo pensé que tenía que hacerlos para poder darles uso todo el verano.

These are the second maritime shorts I have made (you can see here the first one). My intention was to made them last summer, but the fabric didn't arrived on time... So, the first days of sun we had in Barcelona I decided to made them for wearing as much as possible in the summer time.

Archer shirt: Se puede decir que es una prenda de prueba pero ponible. El problema es que es muy calurosa para esta época del año, así que tendrá que esperar unos meses en el armario. De todas formas pensaba hacer una segunda versión más veraniega con una tela más fresquita y sin mangas.

I could say it's a wearable muslin. The problem is that the fabric I used is too warm, so the shirt will be waiting in my closet for a few months. But I was thinking to make a sleeveless version for summer with an appropriate fabric.

Moss skirt: Esta falda la cosí hace meses pero nunca la había enseñado en el blog. Está hecha con micropana. En primavera la solía llevar con medias y botas y queda genial.

I sewed this skirt a few months ago but it wasn't blogged before... The fabric it's a micro-corduroy, perfect for spring and fall with tights and boots.

Últimamente tengo más tiempo libre así que estoy planeando coser algunas prendas más para el verano, ya veremos si puedo con todo...

Dotted "tiny pocket tank"

Por fin llegó la primavera a la ciudad como diría Delafé y las Flores Azules, y que mejor ocasión para estrenar mi última prenda de costura. Está hecha con el patrón "tiny pocket tank" de Grainline studio pero sin el bolsillo. Como me quedaba un poco grande modifiqué las pinzas un poco así que la próxima vez cortaré una talla menor. La tela que he utilizado es algodón "sedoso" que compré en mi tienda favorita hasta el momento en etsy, Cottonholic. También compré otra de cuadros para mi "Archer shirt" pero aún no he sacado fotos para el blog.

Finally spring is coming to the city like Delafé y las Flores Azules's song says. So, the best excuse for wearing my last sewn garment, the tiny pocket tank of Grainline studio. The fabric I used was bought in a Etsy shop called Cottonholic, my favourite at the moment. I also bought fabric for my Archer shirt that it is already sewn but not photographed... it will be blogged soon!
